Topic: An Evening of Insight — A Panel Discussion on Early Onset Dementia from the perspective of the patient, the medical profession, and the care providers.
The panel includes:
Greg O’Brien, author of On Pluto: Inside the Mind of Alzheimer’s; O’Brien was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s in 2009.
Dr. Tricia Mendoza, geriatric trained psychiatrist and medical director of Frisbie Hospital GPU.
Dr. Juergen Bludan, a fellowship trained geriatrician, and medical director of Extended Family, as well as a published author of “Aging but Never Old.”
Mary Boucher, MSW and director of Home Care Services at Extended Family. She spearheads the Extended Family programs surrounding awareness and care of those suffering from the disease and the family dynamics it nurtures.
